24/05/2026Revenue Number Updates
I believe the revenue numbers were optimistic for some companies, so I've tweaked them. I was using recently reported ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) numbers which I extrapolated out to the lifespan of companies for cumulative revenue, causing inflated figures. I've gone back and recalculated these to be more conservative, taking into account ARR from past years and the growth of each company over time.
For example: my old Anthropic figure used their $30B ARR from April 2026 as the cumulative total, which dramatically overstates what they'd actually earned since 2021. Working back through annual figures: ~$10M (2022), ~$100M (2023), ~$1B (2024), ~$3–5B (2025), gives a cumulative number closer to $6–7B.
Similar corrections apply to Microsoft AI, Alphabet, and Amazon. This brought my total industry revenue number down from $718B to $613B which is more realistic, but probably still on the optimistic side.
For other updates, I'm looking into adding AMD and some others to the site, but I'm still going through the process of research for them at the moment.
02/06/2026QOL Additions
There's now an option to hide infrastructure companies from the table and data (which just removes Nvidia at the moment. Given infrastructure is a different category to the rest of the companies, I thought it fitting to give an option to exclude it).
This was a common request and should make the site more focused on the AI product companies if that's what people are interested in.
I also added a way to sort by %PNL, which should be much more useful to sort by than absolute revenue/spend numbers. Thank you for everyone contributing feedback; I'm working a lot on this site to make it better!
02/07/2026July Update
Numbers have been updated for July! I've added AMD and Micron, to add to the infrastructure picture.
Big tech capex numbers have been tweaked to be more accurate, NVIDIA has been updated with numbers for 2026 Q1. Another interesting note is Anthropic's increase in revenue due to Q2 2026 being profitable for them.
09/09/2026September Update
Life has been busy, but I've managed to update the site! Thank you so much to everyone supporting the site, it's really helped me to keep this going :).
Numbers have been updated for September! Not too many large changes, with (unsuprisingly) big wins for NVIDIA and Micron. A few haven't been updated yet (e.g. Anthropic, as I am waiting for the IPO!).
I've also tried to update the UI a bit to be a lil bit more readable, with more on the methodology to clarify the process.
